Psycho killer fa fa fa fa far better

“I like boys with strong convictions and convicts with perfect diction”

I’ve spent the past 24 hours or so in Dublin, and am wrecked!
Last night started out with drinks and the rugby game around 5ish and then www.magickmacabre.com at the Olympia theatre, then more drinks, an amazingly dark indie club in the Oak’s celler where a lot of dancing had to be done and a lot of stories had to be told. I woke up staring into the white wall on the side of my bed and thought I had gone blind or something worse… I blinked many a-times before I realised where I was and that I was indeed looking at a wall and not into “the light” – phew! Very confusing all the same.

I met some fantastic people, Mike knows just about anything and everything about the vikings, the history of… like THE UNIVERSE, and all the best places to go in Dublin. The Church is a converted Protestant church which is now, after €8 million, a pub. Class.

Anyway, the DJ at the club down in the Oak’s celler had quite possibly the most diverse and unexpected taste in music. I’m trés impressed. We’re talking a mix of the Talking Heads’ Psycho Killer straight after the Doors’ LA woman and Pulp’s Common People and the Smiths’ This Charming Man! Classics all around but without the fromage…

My Sunday night will be spent on La Leather Couch with pizza, a glass of wine and Jung’s autobiography, which is really quite good.
